"Maybe if we all throw our hands in the air, hold on to one another and help each other out, we can hold the sky up. So that it doesn't feel like it's constantly falling down."
Being a mom is a tough job. Juggling kids, family, the house, work, school work and all the million other things that come with the job can feel overwhelming. The Circle of Parental Encouragement (C.O.P.E.) is a place to put all the other demands aside and join with other moms in a fun, supportive environment. C.O.P.E. aims to be a place where you can share the joys and struggles of motherhood with other moms. We are open to mom's of kids of all ages. Whether you have a newborn or a college student, a full house or an empty nest we are waiting, with arms wide open for you.
During meetings we chat about the motherhood journey, play games, talk about ways to make life easier. Sometimes we make a craft or share a skill. We are always a no judgement zone and a place where we can share ideas and ways to make this motherhood thing just a little easier for all of us.
Meetings take place every other month during the school year. We meet in Miller Hall from 7:00-8:30. We hope you can find room on your busy schedule to take a little time for yourself and join us. Look for the C.O.P.E. board in the narthex for up to date information.
Meeting dates for the 2016-2017 school year are:
We hope to see you there!
